Join us for a great weekend!

We are excited to offer families with rising 8th and 9th grade young men a weekend they'll never forget.

Our Family Camp weekend will be hosted at  Camp Weequahic, located 2.5 hours northwest of New York City in Lakewood, PA. With their modern bunks, a full service dining hall, and excellent program space, our guests will enjoy a full weekend of learning, fun, and community.

The main point of the weekend is two fold. First, we will show our young men the pathway to a Christian manhood by studying the Bible in an engaging way.

This includes not only learning from the Bible but also exploring the real world implications of these lessons including Big Questions, Money, the Four R's, Personal Values, Women, and more.

Secondly, we will help families start and continue the important conversations needed as their young men grow. These conversations are not always very easy to conduct with our growing young men. Having a weekend set aside just for this purpose will make it both easier and more lasting.

Our Family Camp Weekend will be held from Friday, August 26th to Sunday, August 28th. Check-in begins at 11am with a rolling lunch. Our first meeting starts at 2pm. Our time at camp will include study sessions interspersed with time to enjoy the camp facility with your family as much as you'd like. We will conclude our time together after lunch on Sunday with everyone headed home by 2pm.

The cost of the weekend is $325 for one young man and one parent.

  • This fee includes all meals, snacks, housing, and activities.

  • Limited private housing with a shared bath is available for an additional $50 per room.

  • There is an additional $75 fee for each additional family participant. Our young men must be rising 8th and 9th old and must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

Camp Weequahic provides comfortable bunks with modern bathrooms (they have instant hot water heaters!), newly built bunk beds and comfortable mattresses. Guests will need to bring their own linens or sleeping bags. Participants will be provided a suggested packing list.

Space is limited to 150 participants. Please contact Cole Kelly, leader of the weekend, with any questions about the Family Camp Weekend.
